Wash your hands, cover your face, if you display symptoms then self isolate… but here’s the truth and good news the media isn’t telling you, in the midst of rising cases, deaths, tanking markets worldwide, quarantine and political game playing and unrest…
Only this morning I asked my husband concerning the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, “Is this all over hyped or under hyped, should we believe all we see and hear through the media, what in the world is going on”? Questions that are no doubt echoed by multiplied millions right now. Well, I received some good news in the midst of all the fake news as I turned my questions heavenward and my heart to prayer! Instead of mad panic and wild hysteria on the outside, you can know peace beyond human understanding and the joy of the Lord that is your strength on the inside!
Very clearly God took me to Zechariah 10:11-12. He showed me that for those who will intentionally put their trust in God and believe what HIS word says above all the negative words out there, both they and their families will be saved.
[11] They will pass safely through the sea of distress, for the waves of the sea will be held back, and the waters of the Nile will dry up. The pride of Assyria will be crushed, and the rule of Egypt will end. [12] By my power I will make my people strong, and by my authority they will go wherever they wish. I, the LORD, have spoken!”
Zechariah 10:11-12 NLT
Wherever God’s Children go, in the same way He miraculously protected the Children of Israel of old, He will miraculously protect you and your family. Trust Him! Follow on! Keep strong! There was a clear distinction between the children of Israel and Egypt back in the day, representing those who were God’s children and those who were not, those who were of this world and those who were of the Kingship of Jesus and His Kingdom. There will be a clear distinction once more between the children of God and those who choose to reject His Fatherly and Motherly attributes: 1) Divine Deliverance 2) Perfect Protection 3) Divine direction. The Holy Spirit will be to us all three in this hour of God’s manifested power in our lives! In God’s love for us, He will not force Himself or His ways upon us but for those who will believe, they will receive and achieve great things! God’s miraculous intervention will be revealed and His light shine brightly in the darkness! The Bible clearly shows and our lives confirm: “they that know their God shall be strong and do great things”! Daniel 11:32.
It doesn’t say the storm wasn’t raging around them or that the sea of distress wasn’t in front of them but it does say that the storm and raging waters would not touch, harm or alarm them, it’s potent power would be held back from them and get ready for this… “BY MY AUTHORITY THEY WILL GO WHEREVER THEY WISH!” The sea parted for the children of Israel and became walls that protected them whilst they walked through safely and victoriously! Not so for the Egyptians who rejected and didn’t believe God.
So I’m going to take a personal liberty here and send a private message very publicly to my wonderful hubby! The news of that surprise special birthday trip overseas that you had been planning and disclosed last night you may need to abort…. well, I have some good news, we take God at His word – we don’t cancel our plans, we cancel every evil plan and assignment against us and go forward in blessing! I love surprises! 🙂 For those screaming at my irresponsibility right now, read on and you will understand the context of walking in ‘Wisdom’s ways’! Wisdom is the person of the Holy Spirit that Jesus released to all of God’s children so we could live life confidently, authoritatively, preserved, protected and perfected on earth everywhere we go, just as Jesus walked!
God promises that He will make His children strong! He’s a good Father and I’m so thankful Jesus is a wonderful Saviour and Deliverer! Our perfect protector!
I sensed the Holy Spirit so sweetly impress upon me for my family and whoever will hear the word of the Lord “God wants you to live fully, faithfully and not fearfully”!
“The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy but Jesus has come that we might have life and life to the full”!

Let me share a miracle with you from the Ebola crisis that is just as prevalent and powerful now in the midst of the Coronavirus crisis, that is threatening to leap from an epidemic to a pandemic. I was on a speaking trip to Ghana in Africa and privileged to speak at their Parliament just before the Ebola crisis struck.
Whilst there, God gave me a strong word that I released prophetically, very naturally and God supernaturally did the rest! To the Leaders and MP’s present, before praying, I declared God had shown me an outbreak coming on surrounding African Nations.
“Now listen! Today I am giving you a choice between life and death, between prosperity and disaster. For I command you this day to love the LORD your God and to keep his commands, decrees, and regulations by walking in his ways. If you do this, you will live and multiply, and the LORD your God will bless you and the land you are about to enter and occupy. “But if your heart turns away and you refuse to listen, and if you are drawn away to serve and worship other gods, then I warn you now that you will certainly be destroyed. You will not live a long, good life in the land you are crossing the Jordan to occupy. “Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live! You can make this choice by loving the LORD your God, obeying him, and committing yourself firmly to him. This is the key to your life. And if you love and obey the LORD, you will live long in the land the LORD swore to give your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.” …
Deuteronomy 30:15-20 NLT
I then declared, “The Lord says none of the wasting diseases you will see and greatly fear will come upon you as you trust in me, as you make me your choice and chose my Kingship and my Kingdom reign again”.
It was a powerful moment as I watched those leaders of a Nation respond and put their foot down on God’s side and make Him and His ways their choice! As I returned to the UK, that year Ebola broke out. On my trip to Africa the next time, leaders from Congo and other African Nations attended, the numbers of MP’s and leaders at the Parliament meeting quadrupled – they ran out of food at the banquet I was speaking at. I then sat in awe of God’s goodness and faithfulness to a Nation as The Speaker of The House announced, “God sent a prophet to our Nation. We were reminded of her words and put our trust in the Lord when we saw Ebola break out. The nations alongside us and around us were impacted but not one case crossed our border into Ghana just as God promised”! Believe the prophets and you shall prosper, believe the word of the Lord and you shall be saved! What God can do for a Nation He can do for you! The Divine deliverance and perfect protection God can bring to a Nation, He can bring to your family! Only believe and receive!
In closing, in order to know God’s divine deliverance and perfect protection you must also know, follow and obey God’s divine direction! Let me share with you one final story as a prophetic picture for you!
When I was carrying our 5th child, our adorable Judah, our holiday flight plans to Spain at the last minute had to be immediately changed as I wasn’t permitted to fly. I had always longed to go to the South of France and spent a day working out our road trip and sorting a hotel on the beach front at Nice instead. I excitedly shared the tentative plans in just 3 days time with my husband that evening. He was silent and to my surprise said, “Honey, I prayerfully don’t feel I’m to take you or the children to Nice at this time”! I initially thought he was joking but soon realised I was to trust him and God’s redirection in this. We ended up going to Disneyland Paris then a villa near La Rochelle! Had we not followed the beautiful leading of the Holy Spirit our family would have been caught up in the most atrocious terrorist attack on the sea front at Nice where tragically and heart breakingly the whole area was rendered carnage!
Go forward in obedience, trusting in the beautiful Holy Spirit’s divine direction, deliverance and perfect protection for your life!
“What shall we say to these things, [coronavirus crisis, sickness, fear, terror, natural disasters], if God be for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31.
As you trust God with your life and follow the direction of the Holy Spirit, the Lord will make all things perfect in His time. We have since enjoyed that trip to the South of France with our beautiful baby Judah, now three years old, in tow. We took in the wonders of Nice, Cannes and Monaco totally living in the goodness of heaven above and beyond our wildest dreams; on what was a truly miraculous, all expenses paid, favour filled holiday! You will never come second by putting God first or miss out by following the Holy Spirit’s divine direction, protection, provision and perfection for your life.
For everyone reading around the world I would like to pray two prayers with you right now, one for those who may not know Jesus, His love, forgiveness and acceptance into His family available to them and the other a prayer of surrender and trust in God for perfect protection, divine deliverance and divine direction for your life. Beat the Coronavirus outbreak and trust the presence of God to breakout and breakthrough for you!
Heavenly Father,
I come to you now and thank you for sending your only son Jesus to die for me at the cross to pay the price for my separation from you caused by my sin. Please forgive me, I surrender my life to you now, and accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. Thank you for your love, forgiveness and making me a child of God. From now on I will live for you and ask that you will fill me with your wonderful Holy Spirit as you promised to. In Jesus name, Amen!
PRAYER FOR PROTECTION, DELIVERANCE AND DIRECTION
Heavenly Father,
I surrender my life to you afresh. I put my trust in you today. Your word says you set before me and my family life and death, I choose life, I choose to obey and believe in you for your gift that I receive right now by faith of perfect protection, divine deliverance and divine direction. I love you Lord! Holy Spirit you are my comforter, teacher, counsellor, wisdom and leader, I honour you as I walk and live in your presence, light and truth. Through you I will live everyday fully, faithfully and not fearfully. According to your word and through the power of the blood of Jesus I root out, pull down and destroy all the works of the devil’s authority. I am a child of God, evil has to flee, no harm shall come near my family or me. In Jesus name. Amen.
“And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom. To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen”
